PREDICTING THE END TIME.
1. Apostasy.
The apostasy is the abandonment or renunciation of a religious or political belief. Today’s people want to turn from the truth. The truth is to repent! Today’s pastors do not preach through salvation. But they preach of prosperity
2. Deception
Everywhere in the church, work place, politics, chieftancy etc.
3. Pretense of inspiration.
4. False teachers of every kind.
2 Peter 2:1 “But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction”
It is only a fool that will not learn from negativity!
5. Prohibitions.
The world seeks to put God aside in all we do.
Holiness can lead us to heaven, that is the only thing.
Romans 13:11-14 “Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.”
EXALTATION
* Avoid old wife. (Throw away old thoughts).
Heb 12:1-2 “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”
* Avoid listening to hear-says.
2peter 1:16 “For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty”.
* Teach yourself to Godliness.
Matthew 24:42 “Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming”.
* Command; preach the truth and work hard for the Lord.
Matthew 28:18-20
*Teach people and give attendant to reading and preach the word.
